Ultimate Chocolate Chip Toffee Cookies

- 1½ cups butter, softened
- 1½ cups firmly packed brown sugar
- ¾ cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 4½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 (8-ounce) package toffee bits
- 1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine butter and sugars. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating until combined. Beat in toffee bits and chocolate morsels.
- Drop cookies by heaping tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart, on prepared baking sheets. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, or until lightly browned. Let cool on pan for 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Makes about 4½ dozen cookies.
