    • 4 Tbsp (� stick) butter, at room temperature
    • � cup vegetable shortening
    • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
    • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract


    Instructions


    1. Beat butter and shortening with an electric mixer to combine. Gradually beat in the confectioners' sugar; add vanilla. Continue beating until mixture is very fluffy.

      Makes enough to fill 36 (1-inch) cookies,
      or 12 (3-inch) cookies.
