    Tapioca Cream

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup milk
    • 3 Tbsp sugar
    • 1 Tbsp quick-cooking tapioca
    • 1 egg yolk, beaten
    • 1/8 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract


    Instructions


    1. In a saucepan combine the milk, sugar, tapioca, egg yolk and salt; let stand for 5 minutes.

    2. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla. Cool slightly. Spoon into serving dishes. Cover and refrigerate until chilled.

      Makes 2 servings.
