    Caramel Apples

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 pkgs. caramels (14 oz. each)
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 8 medium apples
    • 8 popsicle sticks


    Instructions


    1. In crockpot, combine the caramels and water. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 to 1-1/2 hours, stirring frequently.

    2. Wash and dry the apples. Insert a popsicle stick into the stem end of each apple.

    3. Turn the heat control to LOW. Dip apples into the hot caramel and turn to coat entire surface. Holding apples above the pot, scrape off excess caramel from bottom.

      Place on greased waxed paper to cool.
