Slow-Cooker Beef Stew

- 2 pounds round steak, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 pound carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 pound small red potatoes, quartered
- 1 (8-ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 (14-1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
- 3/4 cup beef broth
- 1/3 cup red wine
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a 6-quart slow cooker and cook, covered, on LOW 7 hours and 30 minutes.
Makes 8 servings.
