    Brandy Cream

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
    • 4 Tbsp brandy *
    • Shaved chocolate for garnish, if desired


    Instructions


    1. Place ice cream in a 1-1/2-quart bowl; cut ice cream into fourths. Let stand until slightly softened; about 10 minutes.

    2. Add brandy; beat on low for 30 seconds. Cover and freeze until thick, 3 to 5 hours.

    3. Just before serving, stir mixture gently and pour into chilled glasses or saucers.

      Sprinkle with shaved chocolate, if desired.

      Makes 4 servings.



    Final Comments


    * Apricot, peach, or cherry-flavored brandy may be used, if desired.
