    Chocolate-Almond Silk Pudding

    • 4 cups skim milk
    • ½ cup almond liqueur
    • 1½ cups sugar
    • ½ cup cocoa
    • ½ cup cornstarch
    • 1½ tsp vanilla extract


    Instructions


    1. Combine skim milk and almond liqueur in a large heavy saucepan; cook over medium heat until hot (do not boil).

    2. Sift sugar, cocoa, and cornstarch together in a large heavy saucepan; add hot milk mixture, whisking until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat; boil 1 minute. Stir in vanilla.

    3. Pour into eight custard cups or stemmed glasses; cover with wax paper and chill.

      Makes 5 cups.
