Sauce: Warm Cinnamon Berry Sauce

- 2 pints mixed berries (raspberries, blackberries or blueberries)
- 5 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1-1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine the berries, sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon in a saucepan. Set aside 5 minutes to let the juices of the berries start to form.
- Place the berries over medium heat and stir gently until the berries are heated through and have given off some of their juices, about 5 minutes. Remove the berries with a slotted spoon.
- Bring the liquid to a boil, and boil until slightly thickened, about 1 minute. Pour over the berries. Serve warm over vanilla or chocolate ice cream or frozen yogurt.
Makes 8 servings.
