Asian: Galangal Tea

List of Ingredients
- 2-1/2 cups water
- 8 to 10 thin slices fresh galangal
- 2 tsp black tea leaves
- Sugar, to taste
- Milk, optional
Instructions
- Bring water to boil with the galangal.
- Meanwhile, heat a teapot and put the tea into it. After the water has boiled for a couple of minutes, pour it in with the tea. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
- Strain into two cups and sweeten, if desired. You can add milk too, if you want.
Makes 2 cups.
