Spanish: Palitos de Queso Fritos

List of Ingredients



• 1/2 lb. firm cheese, cubed
  
• Flour
  
• 1 large egg, beaten
  
• 3 cups olive oil
  
• Salt and pepper, to taste
  






Instructions



1. Roll cheese cubes in flour. Dip into egg and roll in flour again.
   
   
2. Thread several pieces onto a wooden skewer and fry until the surface is crisp and golden. Do not overcook. Serve hot; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
   
   Serves 4
