Crab Cakes: Maryland Eastern Shore Crab Cakes

List of Ingredients



• 1/4 cup cracker meal
  
• 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
  
• 1 Tbsp minced onion
  
• 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  
• 1/4 tsp dry mustard
  
• Dash of Old Bay seasoning
  
• 1 lb. large lump crab meat, coarsely shredded
  
• 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  
• 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  






Instructions



1. Combine cracker meal, mayonnaise, egg, onion and seasonings. Pour over crab and toss gently.
   
   
2. Heat butter in large skillet. Form crab into 4 to 6 patties and roll in bread crumbs. Fry until golden brown.
   
   Makes 4 to 6 servings.
