    Crab: Crab Imperial

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 Tbsp butter or margarine
    • 1 (2-oz.) jar diced pimiento, drained
    • 2 small celery ribs, chopped
    • 1/2 small green bell pepper, chopped
    • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
    • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
    • 1/2 tsp prepared mustard
    • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
    • 1/8 tsp hot sauce
    • 3 Tbsp mayonnaise
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 lb. fresh lump crabmeat, drained


    Instructions


    1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pimiento, celery and bell pepper; saute 3-1/2 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat; stir in parsley and next 4 ingredients.

    2. Stir together mayonnaise and egg in a bowl until blended; stir in pimiento mixture. Fold in crabmeat. Spoon into a lightly greased 1-quart baking dish.

    3. Bake at 375 degrees (F) for 15 minutes. Serve with assorted crackers.

      Makes 4 to 6 servings.
