- 1 Tbsp butter or margarine
- 1 (2-oz.) jar diced pimiento, drained
- 2 small celery ribs, chopped
- 1/2 small green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 tsp prepared mustard
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/8 tsp hot sauce
- 3 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 large egg
- 1 lb. fresh lump crabmeat, drained
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pimiento, celery and bell pepper; saute 3-1/2 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat; stir in parsley and next 4 ingredients.
- Stir together mayonnaise and egg in a bowl until blended; stir in pimiento mixture. Fold in crabmeat. Spoon into a lightly greased 1-quart baking dish.
- Bake at 375 degrees (F) for 15 minutes. Serve with assorted crackers.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
