    Prawns: Garlic Prawns with Linguine

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
    • 3 Tbsp olive oil
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 envelope Lipton Savory Herb w/ Garlic Soup Mix
    • 2 Tbsp dry sherry
    • 2 Tbsp brandy
    • 1/4 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley leaves
    • 1-1/2 lbs. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
    • 1 lb. linguine, cooked until al dente (drained and kept warm)


    Instructions


    1. In a large saute pan, melt the butter in the oil over medium heat. When the butter begins to foam, add the garlic and cook, stirring, until it is softened -- about 3 minutes.

    2. Add the soup mix and cook, stirring, for another minute. Add the sherry, brandy and parsley and bring the sauce to a boil.

    3. Add the shrimp and toss them in the garlic sauce until they begin to turn pink. Remove the pan from the stove; toss the shrimp and sauce with the cooked pasta and serve immediately.
