    Lobster: Island-Style Lobster

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 whole lobster
    • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
    • 5 limes or lemons
    • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
    • Pepper and garlic powder to taste


    Instructions


    1. Split whole lobster in half lengthwise.

    2. Melt 1 stick butter per lobster; squeeze 5 limes or lemons into the melted butter, and add the 4 cloves crushed garlic to melted butter. Brush liberally on lobster meat. Season lobster with pepper and/or garlic powder.

    3. Broil lobster on open flame on the beach (or place on a broiler pan in the oven on broiler setting); brush from time to time with butter mixture while cooking. Cook until the meat is browned on the top.

      Serve with melted lemon or lime butter.
