    Lobster: Lobster Savannah

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 lb. butter
    • 1 bell pepper, chopped
    • 1 small white onion, chopped
    • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    • 1/4 cup flour
    • 2 cups half-and-half
    • 2 Tbsp chopped pimiento
    • dash of salt and white pepper
    • 1/2 cup sherry
    • 4 lobsters, boiled
    • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated


    Instructions


    1. In a large skillet, saute pepper and onion in butter; add mushrooms and flour. Heat the half-and-half separately and combine gradually to keep consistency smooth. Stir in the pimiento, salt, and white pepper.

    2. Cut lobsters in half; remove meat and cut into small pieces. Add the lobster meat and sherry to sauce and heat through.

    3. Scoop lobster mixture into lobster shells; top with the grated cheese and place in oven under broiler for a few minutes to brown.

      Serves 8
