    Prawns: Prawns in Sour Cream

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 Tbsp butter
    • 2/3 lb. medium prawns, peeled and deveined
    • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
    • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
    • 1/4 cup dry white wine
    • 1 green onion, chopped
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste


    Instructions


    1. Put the butter into a sauté pan. Add the prawns, garlic and mushrooms; sauté on medium-high heat until butter bubbles and prawns turn pink.

    2. Add wine and simmer about 1 minute, or until prawns are opaque in the center (don't overcook).

    3. Remove pan from the heat. Stir in the green onion and sour cream. Place pan on medium-low heat and stir until heated through and lightly thickened.

      Makes 2 servings.
