    Scallops: Sea Scallops with Wine

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. sea scallops
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/3 tsp black pepper
    • Flour
    • 4 Tbsp butter
    • 1/4 cup dry white wine
    • Juice of 1 lemon
    • 1/8 tsp dried basil


    Instructions


    1. Salt and pepper, then dust scallops lightly with flour. Saute in butter until light brown on both sides.

    2. Add the wine, lemon juice and basil. Cook for about 7 minutes longer, being careful not to overcook.

      Serves 4
