Scallops: Sea Scallops with Wine

- 1 lb. sea scallops
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 tsp black pepper
- Flour
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/8 tsp dried basil
Instructions
- Salt and pepper, then dust scallops lightly with flour. Saute in butter until light brown on both sides.
- Add the wine, lemon juice and basil. Cook for about 7 minutes longer, being careful not to overcook.
