Shrimp: Barbecued Shrimp

List of Ingredients
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
- 2 Tbsp black pepper
- 2-1/2 tsp dried rosemary, crumbled
- 1-1/2 tsp paprika
- 1-1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 cups beer
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1-1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 lbs. uncooked medium or large shrimp, in their shells

- French bread
Instructions
- In a large skillet or saucepan, combine the butter, black pepper, rosemary, paprika, salt and cayenne. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the butter melts. Add the beer and simmer, uncovered, for about 15 minutes, or until the liquid is slightly reduced. Stir in the lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add the shrimp to the sauce, stirring to coat well. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
- To serve, transfer the shrimp and sauce to a large serving platter, or spoon the shrimp into individual shallow bowls and serve the sauce on the side.
Serve with French bread.
