    Shrimp: Firecracker Shrimp

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. unpeeled large shrimp
    • 1/2 tsp Creole seasoning
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
    • 1/8 tsp ground red pepper
    • 1 Tbsp olive oil
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 Tbsp chopped green onions
    • 1 cup whipping cream
    • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
    • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
    • Hot cooked rice or pasta


    Instructions


    1. Peel shrimp and devein, if desired.

    2. Combine Creole seasoning and next 3 ingredients; sprinkle over shrimp.

    3. Saute shrimp in hot oil in a large skillet 3 minutes. Add garlic and green onions; saute 1 minute. Add cream, and cook 2 minutes, stirring often. Stir in parsley and lemon juice. Serve immediately over rice or pasta.

      Makes 2 to 3 servings.
