    Shrimp: Garlic Shrimp II

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 Tbsp olive oil
    • 2 Tbsp butter
    • 3/4 lb. small or medium shrimp, shelled but tails left on
    • 4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
    • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
    • 2 Tbsp dry sherry
    • 1/2 tsp paprika
    • 1/4 tsp dried red chili-pepper flakes
    • Salt
    • Freshly ground black pepper
    • 1 Tbsp minced parsley


    Instructions


    1. Heat the oil and butter in a shallow casserole or pan. Add the shrimp and garlic and saute over high heat for about 3 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and curled.

    2. Add the lemon juice, sherry, paprika, chili-pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately, preferably in the cooking dish bubbling hot.

      Makes 6 servings.
