Herb Infused Oils

Recipe Introduction
"Herb infused oils are ideal for the gourmet chef on your gift list. Or the consummate host. Or the one who just loves food. Basically, herb infused olive oil is a great gift for anyone. If you choose to keep the herbs in the oils for a pretty presentation, they will make the oil cloudy and will not last as long. Strain them out if you prefer. Store these lovely oils away from heat and sunlight to preserve their integrity. You'll want to use a light olive oil here instead of extra-virgin, which would compete with the delicate herb flavors."
List of Ingredients
◦  Three 4-ounce jars of choice
◦  Airtight lids
◦  1½ cups of light olive oil
◦  2 to 3 fresh or dried bay leaves
◦  2 Tbsp fresh or dried parsley
◦  2 to 3 stalks fresh rosemary
Recipe
Place one spice in each jar. Funnel ½ cup of olive oil over the top of each jar. Close tightly. Let sit overnight for flavors to mingle. Strain out the herbs if you desire. Will keep for several weeks if stored airtight.
