Christmas: Baked Ham with Chutney-Dijon Glaze

    Source of Recipe

    From "The Barefoot Contessa Cookbook"

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 (7-lb.) fully cooked, spiral-cut smoked ham
    • 3 medium cloves garlic, peeled and coarsely chopped
    • 1/2 cup fruit chutney
    • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
    • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
    • Finely grated zest of 1 orange
    • 3 Tbsp fresh orange juice

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F). Place the ham on a large piece of foil and set in a roasting pan.

    2. Put the garlic into a food processor and mince finely. Add chutney, mustard, brown sugar, orange zest and juice. Process until smooth. Pour the glaze over the ham and between the slices a bit. Fold the foil up around the sides of the ham but leave the top exposed.

    3. Bake about 45 minutes, or until heated through. Serve hot or at room temperature.

      Makes 18 to 21 servings.
