Christmas: Baked Sugared Ham

- One 10-pound whole cured ham
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp brown or Dijon mustard
- 1-1/2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Place a roasting rack in a large roasting pan. Score the fat of the ham in a diamond pattern. Place the ham on the roasting rack. Bake for 2 hours.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, and black pepper.
- Remove the ham from the oven and spread the glaze all over the ham. Return the ham to the oven and bake until the glaze is thick and slightly caramelized, 30 to 40 minutes longer. Transfer the ham to a cutting board and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
