    Christmas: Blood Orange Mimosa

    Recipe Introduction

    "Bring together the juice of glorious blood oranges that arrive in the market in December with Champagne and a hint of orange liqueur and you can say, 'Here's to Christmas brunch.'"

    List of Ingredients

    ◦  1 ounce (2 tablespoons) fresh blood orange juice
    ◦  ¼ ounce (1½ teaspoons) Mandarine Napoléon liqueur or Triple Sec
    ◦  5 ounces (⅔ cup) chilled brut Champagne
    ◦  Blood orange twist

    Recipe

    Pour the blood orange juice and the liqueur into a Champagne flute. Tilt the flute and very carefully ad the Champagne. Twist the blood orange peel over the drink, and then drop it in. Serve immediately.


    Serves 1
