Repeat layering process with 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa, 3/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 3/4 cup (additional) granulated sugar, and 6 tablespoons more cocoa. Tap the jar to settle ingredients into layers. Add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts and 1/4 cup EACH white and semisweet chocolate chips. Close lid on jar.
BAKING BROWNIES:
Heat oven to 350 degrees (F). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan. Whisk brownie mix in a bowl. Stir in 1/2 cup melted butter, 3 large eggs (beaten), and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Spread batter into the prepared pan. Bake 35 to 38 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in center has a few crumbs clinging to it. Cool on a wire rack.
