    Christmas: Pineapple-Glazed Ham

    List of Ingredients


    • One 10-pound smoked ham
    • 3 Tbsp whole cloves
    • 1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
    • 2 cups pineapple juice
    • 1½ cups firmly packed dark brown sugar
    • 1 cup bourbon
    • ½ tsp salt


    Instructions


    1. Remove skin and excess fat from ham. Score ham in a diamond design, and insert cloves at 1-inch intervals. Place ham in an aluminum foil-lined roasting pan.

    2. Stir together pineapple and remaining 4 ingredients; pour over ham. Cover and chill 8 hours.

    3. Bake at 350° F for 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes.


      Yield: about 25 servings
