Halloween: Sweet Spiders

List of Ingredients



• 2 Tbsp confectioners' sugar
  
• A few drops of water
  
• 96 thin black licorice strings, 2 to 3 inches long (found at candy stores, or slice licorice whips into strips)
  
• 12 chocolate cream sandwich cookies (such as fudge-covered Oreos)
  
• 24 red mini-M&Ms
  






Instructions



1. In a small bowl, stir sugar and water together to form a thick paste.
   
   
2. Stick 4 licorice pieces on each side of a cookie to form the legs. If they don't hold well, gently pull or cut the cookie apart. Place legs into cream filling, then carefully press the cookie half back on.
   
   
3. Use the sugar paste as glue to attach two M&Ms to the top of each cookie for eyes.
   
   Makes 12 spiders.
