    Valentine's Day: Sweetheart Shakes

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup purchased creme fraiche or dairy sour cream
    • 1/4 cup dark, bittersweet, or triple chocolate-flavored syrup or ice cream topping
    • 1-1/2 pints chocolate ice cream, softened
    • Ground cinnamon, optional


    Instructions


    1. Place creme fraiche or sour cream and chocolate syrup or ice cream topping in a blender container. Cover and blend until smooth, stopping blender and scraping down sides as necessary.

    2. Add ice cream and blend until smooth, scraping down sides. Divide among 4 small glasses.

    3. Sprinkle the top of each with cinnamon, if desired. Serve immediately.

      Makes 4 (6-oz.) servings.
