    Thanksgiving: Mulled Chianti

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups chianti
    • 2 cups cranberry juice
    • 2-1/4 cups pineapple juice
    • 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    • 1/4 tsp each: cinnamon, cloves and ginger
    • 1/8 tsp salt
    • About 1 tsp butter, per serving


    Instructions


    1. Combine all of the ingredients (except butter) in a large pan. Heat slowly to a simmer, stirring occasionally.

    2. Ladle into mugs or heatproof glasses, dotting each serving with butter.

      Makes 12 servings.
