Peach Sherbet

List of Ingredients
- 5 to 6 peaches (4 cups puréed)
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cups half-and-half
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Wash peaches and remove pits (do not peel). In a blender, purée peaches until smooth. If the mixture is lumpy, pass it through a sieve.
- In a mixing bowl, combine puréed peaches, sugar, half-and-half, and the water. Mix until sugar is dissolved. Cool mixture to 40° F in your refrigerator.
- Place cold mixture into the ice cream freezer and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
Makes 2 quarts.
