Recipe Introduction
"Chicken nuggets are one of those foods that remind you of childhood and simpler days. This recipe is easy and more flavorful than the nuggets you had as a kid."
List of Ingredients
â—¦ 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 2-inch cubes
â—¦ ½ cup butter, melted
â—¦ 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
â—¦ ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
â—¦ 1 tablespoon minced garlic
â—¦ Salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 450° F.
Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel. This will help the coating adhere better and result in crispier nuggets.
Place the melted butter in a small bowl.
In another bowl, combine the Italian seasoned breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and salt and pepper.
Dip each cube of chicken into the melted butter to coat well.
Dredge each buttered chicken cube through the breadcrumb mixture. Pat the coating on with your fingers if it's not sticking well.
Place the chicken pieces on a baking sheet in the center of the oven and bake for 15 minutes, turning once about halfway through. The nuggets should be golden and crispy.
Remove from the oven and enjoy plain or with your favorite dipping sauce.
