List of Ingredients
- Cooking spray
- 9 cups mixed cereal (wheat, corn, or rice Chex, Cheerios, bran flakes, etc)
- 1 cup mini pretzel twists
- 1 cup cashews (optional)
- 1 cup cheese crackers, such as Cheddar Bunnies
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter or coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons Cajun spice mix
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 250° F. Lightly coat two baking sheets with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine the cereal, pretzels, cashews (if using), and cheese crackers.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, heat the butter, Worcestershire sauce, honey, Cajun spice, garlic powder, and salt in 15-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the butter is melted, about 45 seconds. Pour the butter mixture over the cereal and mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Spread out the cereal mixture in an even layer on the prepared baking sheets and bake for 1 hour, stirring the cereal and rotating the trays every 15 minutes. Let cool completely.

Final Comments
• If you can't find Cajun spice mix, it's easy to make your own. In a small bowl, mix 2 ½ teaspoons paprika, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1 teaspoon dried thyme, and ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper. Store in an airtight container. It's great on grilled chicken, oven-roasted potatoes, burgers, or even your favorite sloppy Joe recipe.
