Balsamic Honey & Thyme Marinade

- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp minced fresh thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Mix marinade ingredients in a food-grade, zip-top plastic bag. Add food and marinate in refrigerator 30 minutes or longer. Discard marinade after use. Grill food on medium-low heat to prevent the sweet marinade from burning.
This amount is enough to marinate 8 chicken breast halves, salmon fillets or jumbo portobello mushrooms, or 2 to 3 pounds pork tenderloin.
Makes about 3/4 cup.
