Beer & Grainy Mustard Marinade

List of Ingredients
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1 (12-ounce) bottle beer
- 3 Tbsp country-style Dijon mustard or other grainy mustard
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Crush the pepper flakes, fennel seeds and sage together with a mortar and pestle. Or place in a piece of plastic wrap and crush with a heavy pan. Combine with the beer, mustard, olive oil and pepper. Whisk until well blended. This marinade is good with pork, lamb or beef.
Makes 1-1/2 cups.
