    Bourbon & Brown Sugar Steak

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup minced green onion
    • 1/4 cup bourbon
    • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
    • 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
    • 2 lbs. steak, fat trimmed
    • 1/2 tsp cornstarch
    • Chives


    Instructions


    1. Combine first 7 ingredients together in large ziplock bag; add steak. Seal and marinate in refrigerator for 8 hours, turning bag occasionally.

    2. Remove steak from bag, reserving marinade. Grill steak for about 5 minutes on each side, or until of desired doneness. Let steak stand for about 10 minutes; cut across grain into thin slices.

    3. Combine reserved marinade and cornstarch in a saucepan; bring to boil and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.

      Drizzle sauce over steak and sprinkle with pieces of chive.
