    Liver, Bacon and Onions

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. beef liver
    • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/8 tsp pepper
    • 4 slices bacon
    • 2 medium onions, sliced


    Instructions


    1. Cut liver into serving-sized pieces. In shallow bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper; mix well. Coat liver with flour mixture.

    2. In large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon; drain on paper towel, reserving drippings in skillet.

    3. Add liver and onions to skillet; cook 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until thoroughly cooked. Serve topped with crisp bacon.

      Makes 4 servings.
