    Marinated Beef Brisket

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (2- to 3-lb.) beef roast
    • 2 Tbsp liquid smoke
    • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tsp onion powder
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 2 tsp celery seed
    • 2 tsp ground pepper
    • .
    • 1 cup barbecue sauce


    Instructions


    1. Line a baking pan with a large piece of foil. Place roast in pan. Mix all other ingredients together (except barbecue sauce) for marinade and spread over meat. Seal foil tightly around meat and refrigerate overnight.

    2. Bake at 300 degrees (F) for 5 hours. Open foil last 1/2 hour of cooking time and pour 1 cup barbecue sauce over meat (leave foil open during this time).
