    White Chocolate Hazelnut Muffins

    List of Ingredients


    • 6 Tbsp butter
    • 3 (1-ounce) squares semisweet chocolate
    • 1-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    • 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • ½ tsp baking soda
    • ¼ tsp salt
    • 1 cup milk
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 cup chopped hazelnuts
    • ¾ cup white chocolate morsels


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 400° F. Line 12 muffin cups with paper liners.

    2. In a small bowl, combine butter and semisweet chocolate. Microwave on High in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, or until chocolate is melted and smooth. Set aside.

    3. In a large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add milk, eggs and chocolate mixture, stirring until just combined. Stir in hazelnuts and chocolate morsels. Spoon batter evenly into prepared muffin cups. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

      Makes 12 muffins.
