Caffe Latte

List of Ingredients
- 1 shot (1 to 1-1/2-oz.) espresso or strong coffee
- About 3/4 cup lowfat (or nonfat) milk
- Sugar, optional
Instructions
- Prepare a shot of espresso using an espresso machine, and steam the milk until foamy and hot. Or brew double-strength coffee and beat the milk in a saucepan, whisking until hot and foamy.
Pour the coffee into an 8-ounce cup and pour the milk and foam over the top. Stir in sugar, if desired.
Serves 1
Final Comments
For Caffe Mocha: Make the caffe latte as directed, stir in a spoonful of chocolate syrup, then add whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder on top.
