Okanagan Plum & Apple Crisp

List of Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon or nutmeg
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 6 medium Fuji apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 3 red plums, pitted and cut into chunks
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Combine the flour with the salt, 1/2 cup of the sugar and half of the cinnamon. Cut in butter until crumbly. Set aside.
- Combine fruit with remaining sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch. Turn mixture into a lightly greased 9-inch baking pan or dish. Sprinkle reserved crumb topping over fruit.
- Bake at 350 degrees (F) until top is golden and fruit is tender, approximately 50 to 60 minutes.
