    Okanagan Plum & Apple Crisp

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup flour
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1/2 tsp cinnamon or nutmeg
    • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
    • 6 medium Fuji apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    • 3 red plums, pitted and cut into chunks
    • 1 Tbsp cornstarch


    Instructions


    1. Combine the flour with the salt, 1/2 cup of the sugar and half of the cinnamon. Cut in butter until crumbly. Set aside.

    2. Combine fruit with remaining sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch. Turn mixture into a lightly greased 9-inch baking pan or dish. Sprinkle reserved crumb topping over fruit.

    3. Bake at 350 degrees (F) until top is golden and fruit is tender, approximately 50 to 60 minutes.
