    List of Ingredients


    • 2 Tbsp cream cheese, softened
    • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise or salad dressing
    • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
    • 2 tsp capers, drained
    • 1 loaf sourdough or French bread
    • 4-1/2 ounces cooked smoked salmon
    • 4 slices tomato
    • Leaf lettuce
    • 4 slices red onion


    Instructions


    1. Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise and lemon juice; add capers. Cut loaf horizontally in half. Spread cut sides of bread with cream cheese mixture. Arrange salmon on bottom half. Top with top half.

    2. Carefully slide loaf into baking sleeve. (If necessary, open seam of sleeve about 1 inch on either end.) Wrap and fold sleeve, and microwave 1-1/2 to 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and sleeve, and let stand for 2 minutes.

    3. Remove top half of loaf; place tomato, lettuce and onion on salmon. Replace top half. Slice and serve.

      Makes 2 servings.
