    Pan-Fried Oysters

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup flour
    • 2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
    • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
    • 1-1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
    • 1/4 cup bourbon
    • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/3 cup brown sugar


    Instructions


    1. Mix flour, salt and pepper. Dredge oysters in seasoned flour, shaking off excess.

    2. Fry in hot oil until edges start to curl. Flip oysters over and cook until crispy and golden brown.

    3. To make the sauce: Mix mustard, soy sauce, bourbon, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar in a saucepan; cook over medium heat and bring to a boil. Serve warm over oysters.

      Serves 6
