Fettuccine and Shrimp in Cream Sauce

List of Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup (2%) milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 8 to 15 medium-large shrimp
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 ounce dried parsley
- 8 dashes cayenne pepper (more or less to taste; a little goes a long way)
- 1 lb. fettuccine noodles, cooked until tender
- 6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for sprinkling on the finished meal)
- 2-1/2 cups cooked bay shrimp
Instructions
- Place first 7 ingredients in large saucepan and slowly cook until shrimp are almost done and the sauce is creamy (being careful not to boil mixture).
- Add to sauce mixture the cooked fettuccine, 6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese and cooked bay shrimp; stir gently. Let simmer for a few minutes until shrimp and noodles are equally warm.
Serve in pasta bowls with lots of grated Parmesan cheese served on the side.
