Italian Spaghetti

List of Ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1 (7-1/2 oz.) can pitted ripe olives
- 2 pkgs spaghetti sauce mix with mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 3 cups water
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp oregano leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 16 oz. uncooked long spaghetti
- Grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook and stir meat and onion in large skillet until meat is brown. Drain off fat.
- Stir in remaining ingredients except spaghetti and cheese; heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 1-1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf.
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. Serve sauce over spaghetti and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
