Birds: Quinoa Balls

- 2 cans pumpkin purée
- 2 cups quinoa, uncooked
- 1 cup seed mix (mostly smaller seeds, like millet and safflower)
- 1 cup dried cranberries (craisins, unsweetened)
- Extra seed, for rolling
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients (except extra seed) together in a large bowl. Paste should be easy to roll in your hands into a ball. If it's not, add more quinoa or fruit to make it more solid.
- When you make a ball, gently roll it in a cookie sheet of seed mix to make a hard shell coating.
- Bake on cookie sheets at 300° for 30 minutes. (You are baking a bit, but mostly removing moisture.) Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
