Cats: Say Cheese, Please Cat Treats

List of Ingredients



• 6 Tbsp (¾ stick) margarine, room temperature
  
• ½ cup grated Cheddar cheese, room temperature
  
• 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  
• ¼ tsp garlic powder
  
• 1 Tbps water
  






Instructions



1. Blend margarine, cheese, flour, garlic powder and water in medium-size bowl. Shape into three 6-inch-long logs. Cover and chill 1 hour.
   
   
2. Preheat oven to 375° F. Coat cookie sheets with vegetable oil spray. Slice logs into ¼-inch-thick slices. Place slices on prepared cookie sheets.
   
   
3. Bake in preheated oven 10 to 15 minutes. Remove treats from oven and cool on wire rack. Store in airtight container in freezer.
   
   Makes 5 to 6 dozen treats.
