Cats: Thanksgiving Treats

Recipe Introduction

"You can make these treats with leftover turkey from your meal or from ground turkey."

List of Ingredients

• ½ cup cooked turkey
• 1 Tbsp finely grated carrots
• 3 Tbsp water drained from a can of albacore tuna
• 3 Tbsp canned pumpkin
• 3 Tbsp high-quality dry cat food


Recipe

Place all the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Grind for 15 seconds and then purée for an additional 5 seconds.

To serve, spoon the desired portion (a teaspoonful for a kitten or a tablespoonful for an adult cat) into your cat's bowl.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Freeze any excess and thaw before serving.

Makes 12 tablespoon-sized treats
