    Dogs: Freckles' Beef Doggie Biscuits

    List of Ingredients


    • 2¼ cups whole wheat flour
    • ½ cup nonfat dry milk
    • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
    • 1 egg
    • ½ cup vegetable oil
    • 2 beef bouillon cubes
    • ½ cup plus 2 Tbsp hot water


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 300° F.
      In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, nonfat dry milk, and brown sugar. Add the egg and vegetable oil. In a separate small bowl, dissolve the two beef bouillon cubes in the hot water and add to the mixture until you have a dough (the dough will appear dry).

    2. Knead the dough until it is smooth. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to ¼-inch thickness. Cut out small biscuits using a bone-shaped cookie cutter.

    3. Place biscuits on a silpat-lined baking sheet. Bake at 300° for 30 minutes. Place on cooling racks. Store biscuits in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
