List of Ingredients
- 1½ cups whole wheat flour
- ¼ cup wheat germ
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup dry milk
- ¾ cup water
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the two flours; add the wheat germ, brown sugar and salt. Blend in the eggs and vegetable oil. In a small cup, dissolve the powdered milk in the water, and add to the dough. Cover the dough and let sit for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375° F.
Roll dough out to about ½-inch thick. Cut biscuits with cookie cutters and place on greased cookie sheets. Bake 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and flip biscuits over. Return to oven and bake 15 minutes more. Let biscuits cool about 1 hour.
Makes 25 treats.
