    Prosciutto Provolone Sandwiches

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 loaf French bread
    • 4 tsp whole-grain Dijon mustard
    • 4 tsp cold butter
    • 8 ounces prosciutto or other thinly sliced ham
    • 4 cups spring greens (4 ounces)
    • 2 ounces extra-sharp provolone cheese slices


    Instructions


    1. Cut bread crosswise into 4 (6-inch) pieces. Slice pieces horizontally almost in half.

    2. Spread 1 teaspoon mustard and 1 teaspoon butter on each slice of bread. Divide prosciutto, greens, and cheese slices evenly among sandwiches. Wrap each sandwich tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate until serving.

      Makes 4 servings.



    Final Comments


    Sandwiches may be prepared the night before.
