Prosciutto Provolone Sandwiches

List of Ingredients
- 1 loaf French bread
- 4 tsp whole-grain Dijon mustard
- 4 tsp cold butter
- 8 ounces prosciutto or other thinly sliced ham
- 4 cups spring greens (4 ounces)
- 2 ounces extra-sharp provolone cheese slices
Instructions
- Cut bread crosswise into 4 (6-inch) pieces. Slice pieces horizontally almost in half.
- Spread 1 teaspoon mustard and 1 teaspoon butter on each slice of bread. Divide prosciutto, greens, and cheese slices evenly among sandwiches. Wrap each sandwich tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate until serving.
Makes 4 servings.
Final Comments
Sandwiches may be prepared the night before.
